Southeast Cooldown
A cold front that blasted through much of the Southeast Thursday will press southward into central Florida today, bringing rain and thunderstorms with it.
Behind the front, there will be a fall-like air mass with temperatures topping out in the 50s and 60s from the Gulf Coast to the Carolinas and Tennessee Valley.
This cold front will press completely through Florida by Saturday with a couple of lingering showers and thunderstorms in the far south; otherwise, a dry, cool, less humid weekend is expected across the state.
