Dry Pattern Sets Up over South
Cooler air will pour into the Southeast today as a cold front sweeps through. Spotty showers and thunderstorms will dampen some on the Gulf Coast this afternoon and evening as the front presses by.
High pressure will then take control over the region, providing dry weather for most of the week, and lower levels of humidity will be felt all the way to the Gulf Coast. Residents of the Southeast will also notice cooler temperatures and, at times, a brisk breeze thanks to the pattern change.
Unfortunately, rain will once again drench the region later this week as another storm system rolls in.
