Most of the South will end the work week on a dry note.Highs today will range from the 40s north to the 60s across the Florida Peninsula and near 70 in southwest Texas.
The storm will intensify some Saturday night into Sunday which will increase shower and thunderstorm activity across eastern Texas eastward into the Mississippi Valley.
By Monday, the rain will shift into the Southeast before exiting out to sea by Monday night.
