Drenching Rain, Thunderstorms Slamming Southeast
Stormy weather will return to the Southeast today.
Thunderstorms will develop with a cold front from eastern Alabama to the Atlantic coast.
These storms will bring the threat of torrential downpours and a few of the strongest storms could produce localized damaging wind gusts.
The heaviest storms will be confined to southern Georgia and northern Florida. Farther north, this system will be primarily a rain storm.
