A tropical storm warning remains in effect from west of Destin east to the Aucilla River.
A tropical storm wind warning is in effect for Franklin, Jackson, Calhoun, Liberty, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Walton and Gulf counties.
A tropical storm wind watch is in effect for the following Florida counties: Leon, inland portions of Wakulla and Jefferson, Gadsden.
At 10 a.m. the center of Tropical Storm Ida was located about 185 miles south-southeast of the mouth of the Mississippi River and about 250 miles southwest of Panama City. Ida was moving north-northwest about 17 mph with top sustained winds near 70 mph. Further weakening is expected.
