South Florida Under Wind Advisory

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a wind advisory that will remain in effect until 3 p.m. today.


The advisory includes most of South Florida, including the metropolitian and inland areas of Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

According to the weather service, sustained winds of about 25 mph, with frequent gusts of 35 to 40 mph, are expected across the region today. The windiest conditions are expected after sunrise through early afternoon.
