The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Wind Advisory for N. FL... which is in effect from 8 am EDT /7 am CDT/ thismorning to 7 PM EDT /6 PM CDT/ this evening.
Strong west to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 35 mph are expected through early evening. Because soils remain saturated from recent rains... there is an increased risk that such windy conditions can contribute to more falling trees across the forecast area than would normally occur under such winds.
