Hard Freeze Warning February 18 to 20

The National Weather Service has posted hard freeze warnings for all of North Florida from the Panhandle to as far south as Lake County. Temperatures are expected to fall into the low 20's and remain there for several hours. Freezing conditions are expected for Wednesday night and Thursday night February 18 and 19.

Temperatures in the low 30's can be expected as far south as HIghlands County overnight Thursday, February 19.

Windchill advisories are in effect for the entire state, with the exception of South Florida through Friday February 20.

Please make arrangements to keep pets indoors, protect outdoor pluming and irrigation systems and cover tender plants.
