Freeze Watch for N.E. Florida Wed. Night
Freeze Watch in effect from Late Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.
For the following counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Marion, Nassau, Suwannee, and Union.
Strong cold air advection on Wednesday behind a cold front will bring below freezing temperatures to much of the interior.
Minimum temperatures across inland Southeast Georgia and Suwannee River Valley of Northeast Florida will bottom out in the upper 20’s to lower 30’s with 4 to 6 hours below freezing.
From Ocala to the west side of Jacksonville… minimum temperatures will be at or just below freezing for 2 to 4 hours.
