Flooding Remains a Threat as Storm Lingers in the Gulf
A low pressure system remains in the gulf left over from Tropical Depression Five will continue to bring heavy showers and thunderstorms to the Panhandle.
NWS reported this morning that the low was located 60 miles southwest of Panama City, Florida moving in the generally in the northwest direction during the next day or so.
There is a high probability - 60% chance for the system to become a Tropical Cyclone again in the next 48 hours.
Regardless of development there will be heavy rainfall and gusty winds across the gulf coast area.
