The band of heavy showers and thunderstorms sinks to the Southeast coast and northern Florida today.Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible from eastern South Carolina southwest through southern Georgia, southeast Alabama and northern Florida. Localized flooding is possible due to the heavy rainfall rates.
High temperatures Tuesday should mostly be in the middle 80s to middle 90s, except in the heavy rain area where they hold in the 70s.
