Ana could bring rain to Big Bend
According to the National Hurricane Center in Miami, now a weak Tropical Depression Ana is bringing disorganized showers and storms from the Caribbean Sea across Cuba and South Florida to the western Bahamas.
The storm system is expected to move into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico today, but it is showing no signs of strengthening. The remnants have less than a 30 percent chance of reorganizing into a tropical system again in the next two days, according to the National Hurricane Center. A few locations in central and southern Florida could be inundated by as much as 2-4 inches of rain through tonight.
