Southern Soaking Continues
Heavy rain across parts of the Southeast could leave some areas under water today. This comes on the heels of drenching storms that developed across the Gulf states on Tuesday. As much as 1 to 2 inches of rain will fall today, mainly in northern Florida along with southern Alabama and Georgia.
The trigger for these storms continues to be a stationary front that refuses to move. Very moist air along this boundary could continue to spark thunderstorms through at least Friday.
