BP plans oil spill recovery training in Wakulla County

Sheriff David Harvey announced that BP has arranged additional training sessions for the county next week. BP Module 3 Oil Spill training is targeted to potential volunteers, professionals, and paraprofessionals.

Anyone with an interest is encouraged to attend this four hour training module. There is no cost and you will help build our community's capacity to respond if needed. Training sessions are offered in Wakulla County at UF-IFAS Extension Office locate at 84 Cedar Avenue, Crawfordville.

• Tuesday, June 1 through Saturday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Registration is required. Please call the Extension Office at 850-926-3931 or e-mail horizonresponse@pecpremier.com and indicate which four hour session you are interested in attending. Also indicate your intention to respond in Wakulla County when needed.
