Unlike other weather websites, AG-ER’s goal is to create a one-stop interactive informational exchange for Florida’s 47,500 farm families, and all our industry relatives.
We use a variety of credible resources to compile time-sensitive and accurate information before, during and after adverse weather events. But, we truly depend on your active participation to sustain, maintain and improve this site.
With your assistance, AG-ER can become an important tool for communicating critical information and help safeguard a productive and powerful sector of Florida’s economy.
This web site is hosted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Marketing and Development; nothing would please us more than a constructive comment, and to be “bookmarked” among your favorites.

Florida Agricultural officials are closely monitoring an artic air mass that may drive deep into central Florida during Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall below 32 degrees and as low as 20-25 degrees in some areas. Agriculture producers should exercise caution and monitor temperatures and take appropriate counter measures where required.
