Freeze Watch for Panhandle & Big Bend Tonight
NWS in Tallahassee has issued a freeze watch from late Monday night through Tuesday morning.
Counties under Freeze Watch: Walton, Holmes, Washington, Jackson, Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Jefferson, Madison, Liberty, Wakulla, Taylor, Lafayette, Dixie.
Cold air mass will affect the forecast area Monday through Tuesady. Low temperatures late Monday night will drop into the middle upper 20's over inland areas and around 30 along the coast.
Duration of freezing temperatures will be from 5 to 7 hours inland and 2 to 4 hours along the coast.
A freeze watch means subfreezing temperatures are possible and these conditions could kill crops and sensitive vegetation.
