Extreme RealFeel Temperatures

Oppressive heat and humidity baking the nation's southern midsection will combine to produce extreme AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures today. The most intense heat will exist from east of the High Plains to the Mississippi River. It is here that RealFeel temperatures will soar between 105° and 115°

Heat of this magnitude is already the likely cause of a few recent deaths across the middle of the nation. Be sure to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing and avoid strenuous activity to protect yourself from the intense heat. Stay in an air conditioned room, even if that means going to public places to avoid high electric bills. Do not forget about your pets. They are just as susceptible to the extreme heat.
