Rain continues to pour over Florida


Florida will continue to get soaked by a slow-moving storm loaded with moisture.

Over the next few days, several inches of rain will inundate much of the Sunshine State. The excess rainfall will generate flooding problems where severe drought conditions existed only a few days ago.

A subtropical system southeast of the peninsula is currently moving over the Bahamas has the potential to form into a tropical depression; however the system lacks the necessary warm temperatures to organize into a tropical cyclone.
